The HR Support Level 3 apprenticeship provides an optimal route for motivated individuals to begin their professional journey in the Human Resources (HR) space. Throughout this 12-month programme, you will gain practical skills and insight into how the HR function supports an organisation and its culture – as well as developing a deep understanding of how your role supports colleagues as well as overall businesses goals.

For individuals, completing this apprenticeship will help to develop and hone the knowledge, skills, and behaviours that are vital to any modern HR professional. The programme is designed to build a strong foundation and set you up for further development, specialisation, and career progression in your chosen field.

For organisations, developing the people professionals of the future has never been more important when it comes to enabling positive employee experience, managing change, and ultimately supporting your most valuable asset – your people – to thrive.

This programme is available with or without the formal CIPD qualification. The CIPD qualification is not included in the programme as standard, but can be added to the programme for £574+VAT

Benefits of the formal CIPD Professional Qualification

  • Learners will achieve the CIPD Foundation Certificate qualification upon successful completion of the course.
  • Learners have the choice to apply for CIPD membership and make use of the post nominal letters “Assoc CIPD” after your name.
  • Successful achievement of the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice will allow progression onto the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management or the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development.

This HR Support apprenticeship will give employees at the beginning of their career the ability to develop a foundation of the key skills and knowledge needed for the various responsibilities, the modern day HR function has.

This will create a well-built HR function with experienced and knowledgeable staff, with a grasp on today’s HR legislation, processes and behaviours and understanding of how business aims fit into their everyday role.

For learners

On completion of this Level 3 apprenticeship, you will develop a set of foundational skills and knowledge needed to be a part of a modern HR function. You will gain the skills and behaviours needed to support employees from recruitment to retirement.

As well as developing an awareness of the overall company objectives, you will be able to relay this to employees, form a culture, manage behaviours, and how to best support managers.
