So far on my apprenticeship I have been learning various different skills that I have been able to apply to my work. Having previous customer service experience has helped me a bit but learning about business processes and improving my knowledge has been a great experience and I hope to continue to gain the skills and grow as I learn” - Michael Quinn, Customer Service Level 3 apprentice, Kerridge Commercial Systems

The direction of Centrica over the last 18 months has really evolved, as an organisation we now have a heavy focus on our colleague talent and growth, to enable us in becoming a real learning organisation. Our commitment is to recruit 3,500 apprentices and provide career development opportunities for under-represented groups by 2030, shows we are passionate about utilising apprenticeships to take our workforce into the future of net zero and sustainability. Being a Babington apprentice at Centrica is often a starting point for many great opportunities, most of our apprentices go on to do further qualifications, management roles or lateral career moves across our varied business functions. The opportunities are endless at Centrica if you are collaborative, agile and willing to learn we can provide the tools to succeed in your career

My apprenticeship learning programme has helped me develop new skills in key areas related to my role at the company. A lot of the skills and knowledge I have gained from this are used daily in my work producing high quality projects.
