Public Sector Bodies and Government Departments, with 250 or more staff in England, have a target to employ an average of at least 2.3% of their staff as new apprentice starts over the period of 1st April 2017 to 31st March 2022.

Due to our specialist trainers and programme capacity, we have a very successful track record within the Public Sector and Central Government. We understand the complex requirements that Public Sector organisations must meet through skills development and work with a large variety of authorities, identifying and building on their skills gap across a range of job roles.

Awarded Frameworks

The Central Government, through the Crown Commercial Service, have provided Babington with the following award frameworks:

  1. Apprenticeship Training Dynamic Marketplace DPS (RM6102)

This means we are an approved training provider by the UK Government, to deliver flexible training in Accountancy and Finance, Leadership, Project Management, Operational Delivery, HR, Digital, Customer Service, Commercial, Property and more. We are only one of thirteen training providers with the ability to deliver through the DPS, making it simpler for Public Sector organisations to procure our services.

Babington are also currently holding the single supplier contract for the purchase of Accountancy, Project Management and Leadership and Management Apprenticeship training through the Cabinet Office on behalf of Civil Service Departments.

Our range of Awarded Frameworks makes us one of the few providers of choice for all Public Sector Bodies; including Local Councils, NHS Trusts and Emergency Services.

  • Crown Commercial Service
  • ESPO Framework
  • NHS Shared Business Services
  • YPO
  • SMPS

Account Management

All of our partnered Public Bodies and Government departments also receive access to an Account Manager that is responsible for the following:

Skills Identification

The Account Manager will support and advise the employer on mobilisation and skills solutions and work to develop talent pipelines within the organisation.

Mobilisation

The Account Manager will manage the Onboarding of the delegates from end to end then work through the skills gap analysis with delegates, to enable the correct starting point. They will also be responsible for setting out timelines for delivery and mentoring.

Reporting

The Account Manager will be responsible for progress reporting and hold monthly progress reviews with the employer. They will also provide specific interventions on learner support and safeguarding and manage quarterly strategy reviews with the employer.

The needs of Public Sector organisation are unique, and so are our programmes

We can work with you to design and deliver effective solutions that address your company’s specific requirements. Our managed learning solutions focus on your organisational goals, sourcing and managing training that is in line with your broader strategy. Our blended-learning apprenticeships harness the latest learning technology to enable learning anytime, anywhere, with bite-sized chunks available through any digital device.

While we can work with you to source and deliver whatever you need, we already specialise in several areas. We have extremely high pass rates across all of our programmes, putting us above the national average.
