AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting Level 4

Becoming a Chartered Accountant requires capability, knowledge, and qualifications to show your experience. It requires a lot of learning, time, and an understanding to apply the learning to your role. Our Professional Diploma in Accounting Level 4 qualification, accredited by AAT, equips you with expert skills and knowledge, preparing you to become a fully qualified accounting technician.

AAT is the ideal first step towards further qualifications such as ACCA and CIMA which take you onto specialist areas of accounting. Completing certain AAT qualifications can exempt you from certain modules, on the route to becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Candidates must hold an AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma or equivalent and/or working within an accounts department

The AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting is the most advanced level on the AAT qualification route. The topics covered on this apprenticeship will give your accounting professionals the ability to carry out professional accounting tasks including drafting financial statements, managing budgets, and evaluating financial performance.

For learners

On completion of this apprenticeship, you will have a formal industry recognised qualification and be confident in a range of tasks. These include being able to complete a limited company’s statutory financial statements, prepare budgets and income expenditure forecasts and measure performance and manage costs. You will also be able confident to complete a corporation tax return and a a self-assessment tax return.
