Being able to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing is a key skill. Functional Skills ensure that an individual has the basic applied skills to solve problems and become a valuable employee. They build the confidence needed to tackle commonly recurring problems in any job role.
On this English Level 1 and 2 course, learners can gain either or both a level 1 and 2 qualifications in functional skills. These skills can assist individuals in gaining employment, increasing their confidence, and opening doors to higher level courses and apprenticeships to further their learning and skills development.
