With National Apprenticeship week now into its 13th year and for the first time extending into the weekend we are all fired up celebrating the diversity and the value that apprenticeships can bring to employers, apprentices and the local communities across England.
Jen Bramley, our Executive Director for Customer Engagement said the following.
“National Apprenticeship Week provides an opportunity to shine a real spotlight on apprenticeships across the country where providers, schools and colleges all join in and showcase the benefits that apprenticeships can bring and uniting together in delivering a consistent message which achieves significant impact year on year.
We have lot’s going on this week, our teams from our centres up and down the country will be joining in with the celebrations by hosting morning workshops for employers, holding open days for potential apprentices and their parents to come and find out more about our range of apprenticeships in IT, Digital Marketing or Accountancy and attending many local careers events. We even have one of our centres running a fast and furious style recruitment day. Whether you are considering an apprenticeship, a parent interested to find out more or an employer that’s never recruited an apprentice before our teams are on hand to support you through the process and provide you with all of the information you could need. Don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and tell them you are all ‘fired up’ just as we are to support NAW2020.
We are determined this week to ensure that everyone ‘looks beyond’ the misconceptions of what apprenticeships are and how together we will all be committed to ‘developing better futures’. Stay tuned to our social media channels throughout the week as we’ll be sharing lots of positive stories from our apprentices, their experiences and the impact an apprenticeship has had on them personally.
To end National Apprenticeship Week in style this year see’s us holding our Graduation Ceremony during NAW2020 on Friday 7th February 2020 in Nottingham. We are expecting over 300 apprentices, learners, employers and colleagues to join in with the celebrations where we will be recognising the individual achievements and successes that our very own apprentices have accomplished.
Whether you already an apprentice on programme with us, considering joining us for an apprenticeship in the future or a past apprentice attending our Graduation Ceremony we hope you all get fired up this week and share in the celebrations that apprenticeships have such a positive impact on everyone involved!”
