We’re Having Muddy Good Fun for Charity

Posted by: Andre Post Date: 20th March 2015

Five members of the team at Babington are bracing themselves for a 5k or 10k mud run on the 18th April, in order to raise money for charity Me&Dee.

The XRunner Xtreme Obstacle Race will push participants to the limit, with obstacles including swimming through muddy water, jumping over fire pits, and climbing inclined walls.

Money raised in sponsorship of Babington’s runners will go to the Maria Hanson Foundation (also known as Me&Dee). The charity was set up in 2006 to give short seaside breaks to help capture precious memories for those with shortened lives. In eight years, Me&Dee has helped more than 1,300 families enjoy time with a loved one with a terminal illness or disability.

To sponsor Danni, Craig, Isabel, Luke, or Jannike, and raise money for Me&Dee, just donate here, or text BGXR66 and the amount to 70070.
