Babington Welcomes Andrew Hall as New Chairman

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Hall as new Chairman of Babington this week, as we embark upon an exciting phase in our company’s growth.

Andrew brings a wealth of experience, particularly in the education sector with his role as Chief Executive of the AQA, the leading provider of academic qualifications in the UK including A-Levels and GCSEs. Andrew has also held senior management roles in multi-national engineering groups. With a degree in education, Andrew has always retained a keen interest in skills development throughout the world.

Babington CEO Carole Carson said: “The appointment of Andrew comes at such an important time so that he gives us the support in managing our operational effectiveness, and will help the business navigate through a rapidly changing political, professional and regulatory environment.

“Andrew brings a wealth of experience and expertise to meet these challenges, through a proven record of operational leadership, strategy development, growth, financial and relationship management.”

It is his experience, along with his strong belief in the role that ‘Lifelong Learning’ can play in improving life chances, that prepares him for this role.”
