Babington has formed a new partnership with leading financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP.
Through the partnership, we will develop and deliver a new suite of industry leading accounting apprenticeship programmes. It draws on both Babington’s expertise as a trusted advisor in developing skilled and sustainable workforces, and Grant Thornton’s commercial knowledge and professional expertise.
With large employers able to utilise the Apprenticeship Levy to pay for training, and smaller employers gaining 90% contribution towards the costs, accountancy apprenticeships are a cost effective way for organisations to upskill their people.
These accounting apprenticeships are open to new and existing employees at any stage in their careers and present an excellent way of recruiting and retaining talented individuals at a time when businesses are experiencing issues with skilled staff shortages.
Babington’s Chief Executive Officer, Carole Carson, said, “I am both delighted and excited by this partnership and the opportunities these professional apprenticeships will provide to both businesses and individuals.
The partnership with Grant Thornton cements our already excellent reputation in this sector and will ensure the programmes are world leading, fit for industry and provide fantastic career progression opportunities.
Both organisations already have an enviable reputation for delivering exceptional quality and performance, and we look forward to embracing this new partnership to deliver a real business impact for the businesses, communities and learners that we work with.”
