Babington NAW2019

National Apprenticeship Week is now in its twelfth year and the 2019 theme is “Blaze a Trail” which has been built on the back of the “Fire It Up” campaign designed to continue to inspire, promote and demonstrate the benefits that apprenticeships can bring. Here’s how Babington are supporting the campaign.

Staff from across the Babington centres will be showcasing and celebrating how apprentices bring new energy and passion into organisations. In addition to all the great work that will be taking place locally we will be blazing a trail of our own this year in support of National Apprenticeship Week and on behalf of one of our chosen charity partners, Mind, helping support young people with their mental health and wellbeing.

Our head office teams will be taking up the challenge to cycle from and to each of the Babington centres during the course of the week on an exercise bike with the target of raising at least £461 which is equal to the distance from centre to centre. Starting the week at Bolton we are aiming to have travelled via Leeds, Sheffield and onto Stoke before arriving at our Derby Centre and via Ripley and Nottingham before reaching Leicester then heading south to Birmingham, Milton Keynes and finally arriving in Bristol on Friday to end the week.

During Monday 4thMarch we will be attending the Bristol Apprenticeship fair, to find out how to kickstart your career come and find us at We The Curious, One Millennium Square, Anchor Road from 11am.

On Tuesday 5thMarch the Babington team will be at the Mattioli Woods Apprenticeship Event at One New Walk Place, Leicester from 4pm – 7pm where they will be supporting potential apprentices and their parents to discuss the opportunities that apprenticeships can bring.

Babington would like to wish everyone an enjoyable National Apprenticeship Week 2019. In the meantime, if you want to find out more information about Babington, our programmes and the Apprenticeship Levy you can visit www.babington.co.uk
