You will probably have heard about the new role-specific apprenticeship standards, which have already been launched to steadily replace all frameworks. In addition to this transition, Babington is leading the market and proud to introduce a new approach to apprenticeship delivery – the Next Generation standards.
What is NextGen?
NextGen standards are technology-based programmes that deliver maximum learning and impact, with minimum disruption to employers. By offering a distance learning apprenticeship, learners can engage remotely with bite-size learning, so they are frequently absorbing smaller snippets of knowledge. Babington want learners to feel in control of what they are learning and equally how they learn it, which is why we have created a user-driven platform. To encourage social learning, we include forums as this enables apprentices to share experiences with like-minded learners.
Features of the NextGen apprenticeships
- Learn anytime, anywhere: Our NextGen apprenticeships allow you to complete the off-the-job aspect of your programme through our digital learning platform – BabingtonOnline.
- Interactive resources: We have created an enriched learning experience with quizzes, video lectures and case study scenarios to truly engage the learner.
- Tutoring and support: As you won’t be attending a college for off-the-job training, we’ve ensured each learner will have a supportive and responsive tutor, who will be available for one-to-one chat sessions.
