Introduction to the course
The Housing Management Level 3 programme is an 18 – 21-month apprenticeship, which has been developed to prepare an apprentice for an operational role within the housing/property management sector. The apprenticeship is applicable for learners who wish to work in the private housing sector and is applicable to all sizes of organisations.
The learner will cover the following as part of the apprenticeship: Legislation and regulation in the property management sector; Principles, policies and values of the organisation they work for; The range of services available in the housing sector and understand the current and historical context of social/ rented/ affordable/ private housing and the broader housing market they work in.
The learner’s progress will be assessed through on-programme learning, followed by an End-Point Assessment at the end of the apprenticeship. Apprentices will need to complete Level 2 English and Mathematics before the End-Point Assessment. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices will be able to join the following;
- Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) at Member Level
- Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) at Associate Level
