Introduction to the course
The Housing Management Level 3 programme is a 15 – 18 month apprenticeship. The Housing/Property Management occupation is customer-facing and primarily responsible for the creation and sustainment of successful tenancies in the rented housing sectors. This work must comply with contractual, statutory and legal regulations and approved Codes of Practice.
Apprentices will learn about the principles, practices and legislation relating to current landlord and tenant law. Understanding how they apply to the housing standards.
Learners will develop essential skills in understanding the current and historical context of rented/affordable/ private housing and the broader housing market.
The apprentice will learn about the social and physical context of estates/neighbourhoods and how to resolve defects, common problems, health and safety issues and repairs to dwellings.

The learner’s progress will be assessed through on-programme learning, followed by an End-Point Assessment, consisting of VIVA/Panel Interview and a Project, at the end of the apprenticeship. Apprentices will need to complete Level 2 English and Mathematics before the End-Point Assessment.
Propertymark Qualifications Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management.
