What will this course cover?
This line management apprenticeship is ideal for those who have responsibility over the activities, output and performance of a team, or are getting started in a new role.
As the next step from an intermediate apprenticeship in management, candidates will be able to develop their management and leadership qualities through prestigious qualifications from the CMI.
You will also gain an in-depth understanding of what is expected of a manager, and will develop a portfolio of essential management skills such as these:
- Managing overall team performance
- Chairing and leading meetings
- Understanding the principles of people management
- Implementing change within a business
What qualifications will I achieve?
On the successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 3 CMI Certificate in Management, and Functional Skills in maths and english if required.
What are the entry requirements?
Although there are no formal requirements for this apprenticeship, you will ideally have some experience in a management or supervisory role.
It also helps if you have skills important in all team leading positions, such as good communication skills, and strong teamwork and organisational abilities.
What can I do afterwards?
Advancing from Management Level 3, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your skills as a leader with the ILM Level 4 Diploma.
Alternatively, you could make use of your newly gained skill set in management roles such as Section Manager, Line Manager and Senior Supervisor. Management skills are desirable in all industries, making you an asset to any business.
