Financial Services Customer Adviser Level 2

As Customer advisers are the face of the business, the new skills and confidence gained during this apprenticeship will empower your employees to exceed customer expectations and easily deal with customers on a range of transactions within industry regulation and risk framework.

For learners

On completion of this apprenticeship, you will be comfortable to advice and guide customers on behalf of your organisation. You will have the technical and product knowledge to suggest the most suitable products and services; you will be sure enough to promote new digital services and resolve customer issues and administering customer accounts, whether in a branch, over the phone or through the internet. This apprenticeship will enable you to develop a career in the finance and insurance industry.

Building on your existing skills and experience, during this apprenticeship you will:

  • You will begin by developing a thorough understanding of your business and the products and services you provide

  • You will develop your understanding as you learn about important regulation and industry expectations and how to offer great customer service

  • Set yourself apart as you gain personal development skills and become more confident with a range of tools and systems

  • Completion of off-the-job training and training file
  • Portfolio submission
  • Professional discussion
  • If the insurance specialism route is opted for, learners will have an additional examination in month 8 of the programme
