Earn while you learn

Apprentices will have the same opportunities as employees, earning a weekly wage and working alongside experienced staff.

The minimum apprenticeship wage is £3.70 per hour, but many apprentices earn significantly more. However, the average weekly wage for an apprentice is now around £170. This may seem low to start with but bear in mind that you aren’t yet fully qualified, and as your experience grows, so will your pay. Research also shows that an apprentice can earn almost £50,000 more than graduates over their lifetime.

As an apprentice, you will also receive the same benefits as other employees, such as pension contributions and leisure facilities.
