The People Apprentice is a new position in the Landor & Fitch team, providing support across many areas of the People Function such as Employee Lifecycle, Reward & Recognition, Career Development, Engagement, Benefits Administration, Managing the HRIS and payroll systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Attention to detail and clear communication are key in this role, ensuring we maintain high standards and compliance across all aspects of the People Function.
The People Apprentice will be provided with the help and support to undertake the Level 3 CIPD HR Support apprenticeship. They will develop their skills throughout the role and through this they will be able to gain more exposure to more areas of the People Function as they progress.
The core responsibilities for this role are:
- Onboarding, offboarding and managing the employee lifecycle
- Creating contracts and administering employee change letters
- Setting up employees on our L&D and benefits platforms
- Maintaining accurate employee records and files
- Responding to People inbox queries and managing the People Calendar
- Compliance and reference checks for new starters
What Will You Learn:
HR support Level 3.
The employers are keen to drive up professionalism and standards within HR so the Assessment Plan contains suggested qualifications/units that employers can use to ensure robust technical knowledge.
Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.

The successful apprentice may be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or any other professional body that recognises this apprenticeship within its membership criteria (membership is subject to the professional bodies own membership requirements).
It forms the foundation of a career within the profession, giving the base for further development through a career path within an organisation and/or through the HR Consultant/Partner apprenticeship. The apprentice can choose to stay within core HR or diversify into one of the specialist areas of HR.

As a member of the HR Team, you will be enrolled onto the HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship shortly after your start date. The apprenticeship takes approximately 18 months to complete and during this time you’ll achieve the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary to work effectively in an HR based role. This is a Apprenticeship role, and significant training and development will be available over an 18 month period. Whilst you will be fully supported to undertake and complete your studies, this programme does require personal commitment to study in your own time, in addition to the time provided by the Company.
