Supporting Financial Advisers in the provision of Advice to clients, by updating client files and providing timely portfolio summaries with information details for client meetings.

 

Key responsibilities include:

Core Tasks:

  • Maintains employees personnel files in a current and accurate manner, culling duplicated documents where necessary and ensuring that mandatory documents are obtained from the pertinent parties

Systems and Data support:

  • Registration of new and current Employees’ records on Mitrefinch, Bodet, Halogen and HR Systems. Maintaining updated information on HR systems
  • Creating personal profiles for new employees on Bodet, HR Manager and Halogen as well as delegating user details accordingly
  • Updating and maintain employees leave records on Bodet

Recruitment:

  • Supporting the recruiting function within the recruiting process including scheduling of interviews, organising travel reimbursement for candidates if applicable, reserving interview rooms and greeting candidates as they arrive for interview
  • Assists with the preparation of Interview/pension/panel packs and the co-ordination of interviews
  • Maintaining recruitment database
  • Preparing approval notes, offer letters & contracts
  • Helping coordinate with recruitment partners

Induction:

  • Coordinating Inductions for the new starters once a month i.e., sending out invitations, tracking invitations and having a follow-up
  • Preparing induction packs for all the new starters
  • Completing paperwork with the new starters
  • Arranging lunch for the induction

General Administration Support:

  • Answer and advice on general queries
  • Carryout scanning, photocopying, and filing when required
  • Answering phone calls and passing on messages
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Help with processing of invoices pertaining to HR

Other Duties:

  • To perform any other duties as delegated by the Line Manager

What will I learn?

HR Apprentice Level 3

Duration – The length of this apprenticeship should typically be 18 – 24 months.

Qualifications – There are no required qualifications for this apprenticeship.

The employers are keen to drive up professionalism and standards within HR so the Assessment Plan contains suggested qualifications/units that employers can use to ensure robust technical knowledge.

Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.

Link to professional registration and progression – The successful apprentice may be eligible to apply for Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or any other professional body that recognises this apprenticeship within its membership criteria (membership is subject to the professional bodies own membership requirements).

It forms the foundation of a career within the profession, giving the base for further development through a career path within an organisation and/or through the HR Consultant/Partner apprenticeship. The apprentice can choose to stay within core HR or diversify into one of the specialist areas of HR.
