Key responsibilities include:
The department provides the frameworks, policies, procedures, and projects required to source and align people resource to deliver business priorities. These roles provide specialist human resources skills, knowledge, expertise, and advice that enable leaders and managers to enhance the individual and collective contributions of people to the success of business goals and strategies to ensure payroll and expenses data is processed into the relevant system, accurately, to ensure they are paid in a timely manner in accordance with statutory requirements and company procedures. Support with HR administration duties and help to deliver an excellent new starter experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organising and maintaining personnel records
- Liaising with potential new starters, and relevant third parties, to gather confirmation of relevant documentation to support the offer of employment e.g. I.D. checks, proof of education, proof of qualifications, reference information (5 years of references required for clinical staff and 3 years for non-clinical staff), DBS and occupational health checks.
- Assist HR Coordinators with processing conditional offer letters and contracts
- Assist HR Coordinators with processing changes to terms and conditions
- Assist with general HR queries and where appropriate direct queries to the relevant individual
- Process reference requests for current and previous employees
- Liaising with potential new starters, and relevant third parties, to gather confirmation of relevant documentation to support the offer of employment e.g. I.D. checks, proof of education, proof of qualifications, reference information (5 years of references required for clinical staff and 3 years for non-clinical staff), DBS and occupational health checks.
- Any other Adhoc tasks that may be required from the HR admin team or wider HR team
Regulatory Responsibilities:
- Adhere to (CQC/ GDP/NMC/GPHC / ICO) standards relevant to the role
- Chair / Attend all relevant committees aligned to the remit of the role
- Be aware of all responsibilities relating to Infection Prevention and Control
