A great opportunity to start your career! Based at the Derby office you will help our clients by providing advice and making recommendations on the most suitable product for their needs and guide them through the house buying/re-mortgaging process. Babington is the provider of the Level 3 Mortgage Adviser apprenticeship.
Key responsibilities include:
Working with a team of highly experienced and motivated mortgage brokers. You will gain the knowledge and experience with dedicated training and hands on experience to fully qualify as a Mortgage Adviser. In your role your duties will include:
- Completing an initial assessment of your clients’ needs and requirements (factfinding).
- Researching the market for recommendations.
- Providing high quality independent advice and explaining the different types of mortgages available.
- Explain and advise on a wide range of protection products.
- Ensure all regulatory documentation is completed accurately and in line with required timescales.
- Communication with colleagues within your own and supporting teams, internally and externally.

Future prospects:
- Once you have completed your apprenticeship and achieved competent adviser status, you will join our team of existing Mortgage Advisers, receiving commensurate renumeration including basic salary and competitive commission. We will support you to grow and develop your own client bank over the coming years so you can ultimately create and run your own self-employed business should you wish to.
